Cycling the vineyard lanes offers access that motor tours cannot match. Many family estates lie at the end of single-track paths too narrow for coaches, their tasting rooms tucked into seventeenth-century caves where fermentation still happens in open wooden vats. Both routes return via the same limestone ridge, completing loops of fifteen to thirty kilometers depending on tasting stops. Signage is minimal, surfaces vary from asphalt to packed earth, and cellars operate on grower schedules rather than tourist hours.
